This year over 3,000 particpated in the 4 mile walk including stiltwalkers and jugglers leading the skateboarders, rollerbladers and those in a hurry followed by everyone from children in strollers to some respectable grey heads. Wheelchairs and pets and teams from all over Sin City followed starting from behind the Fashion Show Mall and headed south on the strip to Flamingo. There it crossed over the bridge to the east side of the strip and went north to Sahara where it crossed back to the west side of the strip and returned to the starting point. There, refreshments were available to the walkers that were donated by several local establishments as well as some of Las Vegas' fine entertainment. Over $176,000 was collected there and that has since climbed to over $180,000 and is expected to exceed $200,000 when all the late contributions and donations are finally in. Last year was a great year with the most money ever raised at $161,! 000 so we have another record breaking success.
