Las Vegas to Palm Springs

Start at W Tropicana Ave.
Go Straight on I 15 South go 45.76 mi.
Go Straight on Nipton off ramp South West go .14 mi
Turn left on Nipton Rd. East Go 4.1 mi
Turn right on Ivanpah Rd South go 3.3 mi
Turn right on Morning Star Mine Rd South West go 15.5 mi
(cops can be heavy between here and Amboy)
At the stop sign, Go straight and keep to the left on Kelso Cima Rd 
(pass by the Cima Post Office & Store) South West about 19mi
(4.7 mi you will pass Cedar Cyn Rd.  
Watch out for those dips in the road)
At the Historic Train Station is Kelbaker Rd.
Turn Left on Kelbaker Rd South go 39.5 mi
(8.1 mi to Kelso Dunes turnoff.  Donot turn there. 11.9 mi to peak of Mt. 
 7.9 to I 40 Fry.  (go under the freeway Continue gayly forward) 
11.8 to National Trails Hwy.) 
You do not turn on the I 40 freeway.
Turn Right on National Trails Hwy West go 6.7 mi
(before entering Amboy beginning about 5mi before you will notice
a "underware tree" on the north side of the road.  Then the newly formed
"Bra Tree" also on the north side (right) of the road.  Finally, 
about 1mi before Amboy is the "Shoe Tree" on the South side. (left side)  
These people here have nothing better to do!)
This is where you will pass the Beautiful City of Amboy.
After crossing the rail road tracks,
Turn left on Amboy Rd South West Go 40.2 mi
(The Cloride flats are interesting.  Look for the trenches of water on the 
West side of the road.  Not a hazzard, just interesting to look at.)
After passing a mountain peak is Wonder Valley.
While in Wonder Valley, Check out some of the best homes 
money can buy.  But watch out for the termites.
Turn left on Godwin South go 2.00 mi
Turn right on State Hwy 62 West go 42.4 mi  
Turn left on Indian South go 7.9  mi
Turn left on Interstate 10 South East 6.2 mi
Turn Right on Date Palm Drive (NOT PALM DRIVE)

Palm Springs to Las Vegas

From Date Palm Drive take I 10 West go 6.2mi
Turn Right on Indian North go 7.9mi
Turn Right on State Hwy 62 East (up the hill) go 42.4mi
Turn left on Godwin North (just past the chain link fence of the Airport) go 2mi
Turn Right on Amboy Rd East go 40.2mi
While in Wonder Valley, Check out some of the best homes 
money can buy.  But watch out for the termites.

Continue past the Kelso Dunes turn off.  DONOT TURN HERE!

(Watch out for those dips in the road)
(When you pass Cedar Cyn Rd you have 4.7mi to Cima)
At the intersection past the Cima Post Office & Store Keep to the Right.
Morning Star Mine Rd North East go 15.5 mi
Turn left on Ivanpah Rd North go 3.3 mi
Turn left on Nipton Rd. West Go 4.1 mi
Go North on I 15 South go 45.76 mi.
End at Tropicana Ave.
