The 21st Annual Awesome August Party
This years 21st annual AWESOME AUGUST PARTY WEEKEND will be held in PALM SPRINGS and CATHEDRAL CITY, CA August 7th to the 11th, hosted by Dale Jag and is a benefit for SANTA SATURDAY WEST (www.SantaSaturdayWest.org), the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and various other charities. Palm Springs, California famous series of hot parties will heat up the desert this August. There will be many parties planned throughout the weekend at the participating hotel: C.C.B.C. (800 472-0836). Room rates for partygoers are $69 a night if you mention this party at time of reservations. Host bars and other venues including: STREETBAR, HUNTERS, MIXIE's, CLUB WHATEVER, SPURLINE, OASIS, SCORE, LOOK RESTAURANT and THE LEATHER SMITH are ready for a big party weekend. Entertainers will come from all over the country, but mostly from LAS VEGAS. FRANKIE is our entertainment manager and is promising a great event.
All weekend the participating bars or restaurants will be giving discounts with your weekend pass. Free passes can be obtained at: www.AwesomeAugust.com or $5 at the door. Premium Passes (included drink tickets, free entry to events, etc) are also available online and The Palm Springs Barber Shop Located at: 1500 S. Palm Canyon #A, Palm Springs, CA.
Thursday evening, August 11th, will be the opening party at Mixie's at 7pm. There will be plenty of entertainment all night.
Then, on Friday evening at Mixie's, special Los Angeles entertainment with prizes and raffles will begin at 9pm. This party benefits Santa Saturday West and a $5 donation at the door is suggested. For more information go to: www.santasaturdaywest.org. After hours, recover in a lounge chair or walk the grounds at C.C.B.C. for a spectacular evening under the stars. Free entry for those with Premium Weekend Passes. And don't forget to stop off at our hospitality suite!
Saturday, don't forget to enjoy a fabulous brunch at Look Restaurant. Then, at 4pm, get ready for C.C.B.C.’s Mr. NUDE AWESOME AUGUST CONTEST. Enter the contest or just enjoy the view! Free entry with the Premium Weekend Pass. Evening events are at HUNTERS where a TATTOO PARTY and CONTEST will be held. Show off your existing tattoos or buy one at the bar. The party will continue with an after hours party at C.C.B.C. complete with a hospitality suite. Free entry with your Premium Weekend Pass.
Sunday, again you can enjoy a fabulous brunch at Look Restaurant. But don't worry,
we'll keep the pool HOT at C.C.B.C. for the pool party from 11 am to 4pm.
New this year, we have included a bartenders bash on Monday night. It begins at Club
Whatever all day till midnight where you can receive a free entry pass to C.C.B.C. For the
finally! If you can remember some of the ol fashion bartenders bashes from 10 years plus,
this is what we are having! Hundreds of gay bars in the California, Arizona, Nevada and
Utah have been contacted to attend this event! This is a DO NOT MISS PARTY!!!!
